Company recognised for ESG leadership and innovation in sustainability IRPC Public Company Limited, led by Pranarch Kosayanont, Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy Planning and Business Development, has been honoured with ‘The Best of ESG’ award at the Future Trends Awards 2025. This prestigious recognition underscores IRPC’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, integrating sustainability into its business operations while driving technological and innovative advancements for economic and social development. The award highlights IRPC’s excellence in sustainability-driven innovation, its proactive approach to adapting to future trends, and its role in promoting global sustainability initiatives. The company’s achievements reflect a strong dedication to corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship, reinforcing its position as a leader in sustainable business practices. The Future Trends Awards 2025 celebrates organisations and individuals demonstrating outstanding innovation and forward-thinking strategies under the theme “Knowing the Future, Being the Winners of Tomorrow”. The accolades honour those who leverage emerging trends and transformative innovations to drive progress across multiple sectors, including quality of life, society, economy, technology, and the environment.

On August 17, 2024. Ms. Arisara Suthasut, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, IRPC Public Company Limited and a board member of the United Nations Global Compact Network Thailand (UNGCNT), attended the event’s opening ceremony and visited the IRPC and PTT Group innovation booths. This year, UNGCNT and its partners displayed world-changing innovations aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to inspire students to appreciate the role of science and technology in advancing sustainability. These innovations were featured in the “THE GLOBE VENGERs” exhibition. The National Science and Technology Fair 2024, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), ran from August 16 to 25, 2024, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Under the theme “Future Science Community for All” the event aimed to foster public engagement in building a science-oriented society to develop the nation’s potential and prepare youth and the public for future global changes.  

เมื่อวันที่ 2 พฤษภาคม 2567 คุณไกรศรี ภัณฑ์กิจนิรันดร ผู้จัดการฝ่ายอาวุโส ฝ่ายแผนกลยุทธ์และความยั่งยืน ผู้แทน บริษัท ไออาร์พีซี จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจว่าด้วยความร่วมมือระหว่างกรมทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง และรวมกับภาคีเครือข่ายป่าชายเลนประเทศไทย (Thailand Mangrove Alliance) จากภาคเอกชน ชุมชน และท้องถิ่น รวม 37 บริษัท เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานอนุรักษ์ป่าชายเลนผ่านเครือข่ายดังกล่าว โดยการดำเนินงานจะยึดหลักการ 3 ด้านหลักของความยั่งยืน ได้แก่ ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และ เศรษฐกิจ เพื่อมุ่งสู่เป้าหมายการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรป่าชายเลนอย่างยั่งยืน ณ กรมทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง

เมื่อวันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2567 ฝ่ายแผนกลยุทธ์และยั่งยืน ไออาร์พีซี ร่วมกับ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จัดการอบรม SD Academy โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ผศ.ดร.ชัยภร ภู่ประเสริฐ กรรมการกำกับดูแลกิจการที่ดีและยั่งยืน ไออาร์พีซี และ ศ.ดร.พิสุทธิ์ เพียรมนกุล ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันคาร์บอนเพื่อความยั่งยืน เป็นผู้บรรยายให้ความรู้ความเข้าใจในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ตลอดจนพัฒนาทักษะของบุคลากรให้เพียงพอและเท่าทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสถานการณ์โลก สามารถนำมาบริหารจัดการองค์กร ในการบริหารจัดการความเสี่ยงที่อาจเกิดขึ้น มุ่งสู่การเป็นองค์กรยั่งยืน

On February 8, 2024, Mr. Somboon Satasin, Senior Vice President, Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental addressed “Leadership Vision Towards Net Zero Goals” and appointed Mr. Maithree Sakulkittimasak, Senior Officer, Environmental Management as representative of IRPC to joine in the opening ceremony of “Carbon Footprint for Organization Platform Testing on the Net Zero Pathway” with the objective to promote greenhouse management certified by Carbon Footprint for Organization: CFO in various sectors by using platform developed by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) as an accurate, convenient and rapid assessment tool in line with international standards; in addition, it can also support verification by data verifiers whereby TGOs can review and communicate with reporting organizations and verification agencies seamlessly through the developed platform which allows business sector to efficiently move towards Net Zero goal.

On February 5, 2024, Mr. Somboon Satasin, Senior Vice President, Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental represented IRPC Public Co., Ltd. in joint declaration to participate in “Preparation for CBAM measures for export to the European Union” program, with the objective to accelerate preparation for exporters of targeted industries such as iron and steel, cement, electricity, fertilizer, aluminum, paper, ceramic, glass, plastic, hydrogen and chemicals to be able to comply with Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism: CBAM using embedded emissions platform as a tool to evaluate and report to the EU, including recommendations to improve the platform.  The event was presided by Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO at Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok with Facebook Live Streaming.

เมื่อวันที่ 26  ธันวาคม 2566  บริษัท ไออาร์พีซี จำกัด (มหาชน)  ได้รับใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ โครงการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Low Emission Support Scheme : LESS) โดยองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) จากกิจกรรมการคัดแยกขยะรีไซเคิล บริเวณพื้นที่โรงงานระยอง  ซึ่งปริมาณขยะรีไซเคิลที่แยกได้ในปี 2565 เท่ากับ 818.9 กิโลกรัม โดยปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจก ได้รับการประเมินว่าสามารถลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้เป็นจำนวน 607 กิโลกรัมคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่า (kgCO2eq) ระยะเวลาตั้งแต่ 1 มกราคม 2565 ถึง 31 ธันวาคม 2565 โครงการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Low Emission Support Scheme)  มีแนวคิดในการพัฒนารูปแบบการดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักให้เกิดการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก และยกย่องผู้ทำความดี โดยการมอบใบประกาศเกียรติคุณ (Letter of Recognition : LOR) เพื่อให้ผู้ดำเนินกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้รับการยอมรับ โดยผ่านกระบวนการวิเคราะห์และประเมินทางเทคนิควิชาการ และนำมาผนวกกับแนวคิดการให้การสนับสนุน (Support) จาก “ผู้ให้” ในภาคองค์กร/ธุรกิจ ไปสู่ “ผู้รับ” ในสังคม/ชุมชน ทั้งนี้ การประเมินปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจกของโครงการ LESS เป็นการประเมินเบื้องต้นเพื่อการประกาศเกียรติคุณ ดังนั้นปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจกที่ลดได้จากโครงการ LESS จึงไม่สามารถนำไปซื้อ-ขายได้

Mr. Kris Imsang, President and Chief Executive Officer, IRPC Public Co., Ltd. joined in “TBCSD Annual Event 2023” on its 30th anniversary organized by Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development : TBCSD to present the company’s vision in driving economy, society, and the environment towards sustainable practices, aligning with the country’s policy including the role of partner organizations and TBCSD member organizations in jointly driving the organization towards a low-carbon and sustainable business model to becoming a low-carbon and sustainable society on December 6, 2023 at Centara Grand Central Plaza Ladprao, Bangkok.

On November 21, 2023, Mr. Woravuth Sivapetranart, Senior Executive Vice President, Operation, IRPC Public Co., Ltd. received Sustainability Awards of Honor at the SET Awards 2023 organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) together with Money & Banking Magazine, in recognition of listed companies with outstanding operations in sustainable development while maintaining good corporate governance, balancing all stakeholder’s values for the business’ economic growth along with social and environmental development. This award also set a benchmark for other listed companies and champions ongoing sustainable business practices.
